Grape Varieties
The grapes that make our wines are from different zones within Rioja Alavesa.
Depending on the variety of grapes, we obtain nuances in our wines.

Our vineyard produces and uses several varieties of grapes. Our main grape that we use to make our reserve and non reserve wines is Tempranillo. Tempranillo is a Spanish red wine grape variety. It produces dark, aromatic, fruity wines, with soft tannins which become very smooth in the barrel. We also use Shirah grapes, for our red wines, Merlot, Cabernet and Graciano wines. The Viura grapes is used for our white wines Chadornnay, Sauvinon blanc, Verdejo and Moscatel wine.

The average age of our vineyards is 40 years for tempranillos. We have the capability to store 5 million kilos of grapes in our temperature control stainless steel tanks to better control the process.
